Health & Fitness Disclaimer
Connetic gives you exercise information and automatically generated training suggestions. It is not medical advice, it is not personal training, and nobody qualified has reviewed your individual circumstances. Read this before you train.
01Not medical advice
Everything in Connetic — exercise descriptions, instructions, coaching cues, demonstration animations, difficulty ratings, muscle mappings, workouts, programs and anything Coach C says — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
It is not medical advice, healthcare advice, physical therapy, rehabilitation guidance, personal training, exercise prescription, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified professional who knows your history.
02Talk to a doctor first
Consult a physician or other qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, are over 40, are returning to training after time away, or have — or think you may have — any injury, illness, cardiovascular condition, joint problem, chronic condition, or any other reason to think exercise might not be safe for you.
If a professional has told you not to do something, their advice overrides anything this app suggests.
03Exercise carries real risk
Physical exercise can cause injury, and in rare cases serious injury or death. That risk is inherent to training and cannot be removed by an app. By using Connetic you accept that risk knowingly and voluntarily, and you take full responsibility for your own safety and for the choices you make about what, how much and how hard to train.
- Work within your current ability, not the number on a card.
- Warm up, use a weight you control, and use a spotter for loaded barbell work.
- Check that your equipment is sound before you load it.
- Correct form matters more than what Connetic scheduled for you today.
04Stop if something is wrong
Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath, chest pressure or discomfort, nausea, or anything else that feels wrong — and seek medical attention. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. Do not use Connetic to decide whether a symptom is serious.
05What the AI coach is, and is not
Coach C and the other AI features generate suggestions automatically from a language model. They are not a certified trainer, physiotherapist or doctor, and no human reviews what they produce before you see it. They can be confidently wrong — suggesting an exercise that is a poor idea for you, a load that is too heavy, or a progression that is too fast.
If you tell Connetic about an injury or limitation, we pass that to the model so it can try to work around it. That is a best effort and nothing more: it does not make the result safe, and it is not a substitute for clearing your training with someone qualified. Treat every AI suggestion as a starting point you judge for yourself.
06Our exercise data comes from a third party
Connetic's exercise catalog and demonstration media are licensed from a third-party provider. Neither we nor that provider represents that any exercise, instruction, classification, progression, substitution, muscle mapping, equipment mapping or difficulty rating is safe, accurate, complete or appropriate for any particular person, condition, goal, age, fitness level, injury or medical history.
07You must be 18 or older
Connetic is intended for adults. Do not create an account or use the app if you are under 18. See the Terms of Service for the full eligibility requirements.
08No professional relationship, no endorsement
Using Connetic does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client or trainer–client relationship between you and us. Nothing in the app should be read as a claim that any medical or fitness professional, or our data provider, has reviewed, approved, certified, endorsed or safety-tested Connetic or any workout it produces.
