Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Connetic(“Connetic”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy and Health & Fitness Disclaimer, which are part of this agreement. If you do not accept them, do not use Connetic.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password to yourself; tell us promptly at connetic.fit@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it. One account per person, and the details you give us should be accurate.

Connetic is pre-release software provided as-is. Features will change or disappear, the app will sometimes break, and data — including your cards, Effort balance and training history — may be reset, altered or lost as we develop it. Do not use Connetic as the only record of anything you would be upset to lose.

We do not promise any particular uptime, and we may suspend or change the service at any time.

Connetic is not medical advice and does not replace a qualified professional. This matters enough to live on its own page — read the Health & Fitness Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms. You train at your own risk and you are responsible for deciding what is safe for you.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or otherwise systematically extract the exercise catalog, its media, or any other part of the service.
• Reverse engineer the app, probe or bypass its security, or access data that isn't yours.
• Use automated means to create accounts, run sessions, claim rewards, earn Effort, or otherwise manufacture progress you didn't train for.
• Harass, abuse, impersonate or endanger anyone, or post unlawful, infringing or sexually explicit content in shared sessions, comments, usernames or custom cards.
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute any part of the service.
• Interfere with the service or place an unreasonable load on it.

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, for breaking these rules.

Custom exercise cards, photos and demonstration clips, workouts, programs, comments and your profile details are yours — you keep ownership. You give us a licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and show that content for the purpose of operating Connetic, including showing it to the people you share it with. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where someone else already received it through a shared session.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

The app, its design, its code and its branding belong to us. The exercise catalog — exercise data, instructions, taxonomy, relationships and the demonstration animations — is licensed to us by a third-party provider and remains theirs.

You may use that catalog inside Connetic, for your own training, and for nothing else. You may not copy, extract, scrape, republish, redistribute or build a competing exercise database or media library from it, in whole or in part. This restriction survives the end of your account.

Coach C, the onboarding interview, AI Quick Start and the AI deck and workout builders generate output automatically using a third-party language model. That output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for you, and no human checks it first. It is not professional advice of any kind, and you are responsible for judging what you act on.

We may limit how many AI requests an account can make in a day, and may change or withdraw these features. Section 3 of the Privacy Policy explains what gets sent to the model.

Cards, packs, Effort, ranks, evolutions and similar items exist only inside Connetic. They are a licence to use them in the app, not property.

• They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• They cannot be sold, traded or transferred outside the app.
• We may adjust, rebalance, expire or remove them — including to fix bugs or reverse progress obtained by breaking section 5.
• They are not refundable, and they do not survive the closure of your account.

During the beta, Connetic's features are available to all accounts at no charge. If we introduce paid plans, prices and billing terms will be shown before you buy, and payment will be handled by our payment processor — we never receive your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable.

You can stop using Connetic whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms, or if we stop offering the service. Sections 7, 9, 12, 13 and 14 survive termination.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Connetic is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the exercise data, AI output, or any suggestion the app makes is accurate, complete or suitable for you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or personal injury arising from your use of Connetic. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of Connetic, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and the effective date at the top will change. Continuing to use Connetic after that means you accept the new version. If any clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
